Privacy Policy

LandValuator® ("we," "us," or "our") operates the LandValuator web application at landvaluator.app. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our service.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following information when you use LandValuator:
- Account information — your name and email address, provided when you create an account or sign in with Google.
- Map and zone data — pricing zones, polygon boundaries, and pricing tier settings you create within the app. This data is stored in your account only and is not accessible to LandValuator operators.
- Google Sheets configuration — spreadsheet IDs and column mappings you configure to connect your county data sheets. This configuration is stored in your account only and is not accessible to LandValuator operators.
- Application state — your selected state and county, and UI preferences such as panel open/close states. Stored in your account only and not accessible to LandValuator operators.
- Property data — parcel records loaded from your connected Google Sheets, including coordinates, APN numbers, acreage, and owner names. This data is held in your browser session only and is never stored on our servers.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the LandValuator application
- To save and restore your zones, sheet configurations, and preferences across sessions
- To authenticate your identity and secure your account
- To communicate with you about your account if necessary
We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.
3. Third-Party Services
LandValuator uses the following third-party services to operate:
- Supabase — authentication and database storage. Your account data and zone configurations are stored in Supabase. See Supabase Privacy Policy.
- Google OAuth — optional sign-in with Google. If you use this option, Google shares your name and email address with us. See Google Privacy Policy.
- Google Sheets API — used to read and write data to your connected county spreadsheets via a service account you authorize.
- Mapbox — map rendering and tile delivery. See Mapbox Privacy Policy.
- Netlify — web hosting and serverless functions. See Netlify Privacy Policy.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored in Supabase (us-west-1 region, North California). All data is protected by Row Level Security — only you can access your own data. LandValuator operators have no ability to view, access, or retrieve your zone data, sheet configurations, or application state. We use HTTPS for all data transmission.
Property records loaded from Google Sheets are held in memory during your session and are not permanently stored on our servers.
5. Cookies and Local Storage
LandValuator uses browser local storage to cache county lists and maintain your authentication session. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.
6. Your Rights
You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at landvaluator@gmail.com. We will delete your data within 30 days of your request.
7. Children's Privacy
LandValuator is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the effective date at the top of this page when we do. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
